SBS 2000 is out of mainstream support in accordance with Microsoft published lifecycle support...
You don't see a lot of support/new functionality for Windows 2000 pro either...
Actually the firewall client is pretty independent of the version of ISA because the same firewall client works with ISA 2006

I too have had the same issue and find it increadible that Microsoft thinks
that everyone as upgraded to SBS2003 - as clearly this is not the case.
Microsoft updated the ISA2000 client to work with Vista so there seems to be
no reason why they shouldnt update the fax client on SBS 2000 to work with
Vista.
Come on Microsoft - it really cant be that hard to do
