No the software is not free...but I also doubt you'd be able to find it anymore

Your best bet right now would be getting new 64bit capable hardware in preparation for SBS 2008 which is expected out later this year

This would be much less expensive than just trying to upgrade Exchange itself as you'd have to buy all new CALs too

We have several sales people who have hand held devices that can synch with
Exchange using ActiveSynch. However, we have Exchange 2000 (becasue we have
SBS 2000) and ActiveSynch is not part of that. I have heard that the product
