Re: help please i am lost with an ftp issue

If you already have a registered domain pointing to your no-ip address then you should be able to reach your FTP site. Check to insure Port 21 is open on your Router/firewall. Try by the IP first, then domain name. You will need to create your FTP virtual directories with the appropriate permissions.

i have set up a web site with ddns. i am using no-ip.com.
it works great.

now i want to host FTP as well.
i have made a new site with no-ip.com.

the problem is i don't know how to make the active FTP folder become
recognized by the
URL that i have decided to use using the no-ip.com service.

in other words don't know how to go from

c:\folder

to

FTP://myurl.com

it's probably something very simple that i am overlooking or leaving
out.
