maybe the 9 minutes didn't mean anything.
When I checked the system again there it was....
How long in total did the restore take?

I don't work for Acronis, but wanted to relay my experience.
I was looking for a way to Ghost my SBS 2000 server. I used Norton
Ghost, but got into some issues with the usb drive, and it not being
recognized. I kind of gave that up after looking at some posts about
Acronis.
I went to their website and downloaded the server version. I ran it on
my server and the backup went fairly fast. I then decided to restore
and see if everything came back correctly. During the restoration
process it seemed to hang at 9 minutes left. I came back ten minutes
later and it was still on 9 minutes left. I got frustrated and
rebooted.
After the system came up...no operating system found. I hosed the
whole O/S! So I put in my SBS 2000 install disc, and started from
scratch. I installed Acronis again after a basic Windows 2000 server
setup. (I didn't install the SBS components). I ran the restore and it
hung at 9 minutes. I figured since the process was still active that
maybe the 9 minutes didn't mean anything.
When I checked the system again there it was....my orginal SBS 2000
install with all my mailboxes untouched! It was beautiful! I can't
tell you how much better I feel about my backups now!
