I have this issue with some of our remote users
check this tip on microsoft's web site
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q302361
if the driver installation is not working this will open up the ports
for those usb and lpt because originally TS is only used with network
shared printers with IP's attached

The printer driver must be installed on the Terminal Server. Are you also
running the latest Remote Desktop Client on the client computer? Have you
tried bypassing the USB and connect with Parallel Cable?

office - SBS server 2000. Allows Terminal sevice printers to be
created.
remote office - Dell Photoprinter aio 924 multifunction, connected via
usb to xp pro sp2.
When i connect via ts to server, the server creates the printer, but
when i print to it, the document shows as printing in the print queue.
I have trawlled the groups, but nothing seem to help. Any idea. there
was some talk of multifunctions not working via ts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
