Dan,

You might want to make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the
tape drive. Also, make sure your running the latest Service Pack (SBS SP1a
which is Windows 2000 SP4) on the SBS 2000.

Your error is mentioned in a couple of past posts, although I couldn't find
a definitive solution...

Hi every one,

I'm trying to backup some files on our Small Business Server 2000 to a
4mm
DDS tape (on an HP C5683A SCSI Sequential Device. After successfully
running
the backup, I get an error during verification stating "4mm DDS does not
contain archive media". I also get this error when trying to restore the
files.

Can anyone please tell me what's wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
