Using WU on the SBS server is fine as long as you follow a couple of simple
rules (IMO):
1. I always reboot the server before performing any updates to it
2. Make sure you have a recent tape backup available.
3. Stop Exchange services
4. Only apply Critical patches - don't apply the other recommended patches
or the drivers
5. Understand that WU does NOT report all possible required patches - it
doesn't report patches for Exchange, ISA or SQL
