That sounds exactly what Im doing now.
I refered to that as SMTP mail from my ISP.
I receive and is distributed acordingly.
The problem is I am having problems with my email
bouncing and having massive delays on it. I cannot get
ahold of my ISP as mentioned earlier.
I have called earthlink (who provides my DSL) to see if
they can do what you are suggesting (I refered to it as
SMTP mail) to see if they could do everything and they
said no, they only provide POP3.
I am now thinking its a Earthlink problem as I just got
home and cannot ping my Static IP address.
