Who told you that?
If you need to reinstall, ring MS, & they will talk you through it. Takes a
few mins on a good day, a few hours on a bad one. I guess strictly speaking
though, if you had an OEM version, & your server needed replacement,
("fried") you would need a new OS, just as you would with any other OEM
software.
