Greetings,
I have two workgroups I would like to be able to communicate with each other. The way it's set up right now is this:
The "office" workgroup has the IP range 192.168.16.x, and the "plant" workgroup has IPs in 192.168.10.x. I *cannot* change the "plant" workgroup's ips, and I'd prefer not to change the office workgroup's. Now, both of these workgroups are connected to the main server, which has two NICs, internet and LAN. I gave the LAN NIC a second IP when the plant workgroup was added, 192.168.10.2, in addition to the default SBS IP (192.168.16.2).
All computers on the plant workgroup are connected through a hub to the network. They can ping the 10.2 address of the main server, but cannot use the UNC or access any shared folders. I have a feeling that I need to add the WINS server to the plant workgroup's setups, but I've tried that, and their connections do not work at all after that. What other solutions can I try?
