You mean they can't "see" the shares when browsing the LAN? Can you ping
the SBS server by IP address? Try adding the SBS LAN IP address (default is
192.168.16.2) to the DNS properties of the VPN connectoid on the remote
laptops.
Also make sure you have added the regedits from KB 292822 to the SBS
server...

with Routing and Remote Access and DNS Installed

If the laptops are Win9x, you may need an LMHOST file configured on the
remote laptops.
