I was planning on using Disk one from the SBS set and stopping there, which I had read was ok. Just not completing the remainder of the SBS install until later. I have Win2k Server disks if necessary though.

I was under the impression that when the new server came online, the old SIDS would be gone along with the old server and would need to be re-established. Also I would like to preserve user profiles and such.
(Note: this network is not a well laid out SBS install. In addition to being an upgrade to 2000 from 4.5, which was an upgrade from 4.0....etc. Most of the workstations did not get the SBS client install run on them. My predecessor just bought Win2k machines and joined them to the domain. And I get to do the fixin'! )
