I've considered this as well. However, the hub was in place before I implemented ISA and it wasn't a problem then so the hub can't be causing the problem. At some point I will probably recommend replacing the 24 port hub with a switch, but I don't think that will be the solution to this problem. It may be that ISA is generating much more "chatter" on the internal network and if so, this is the problem that needs to be resolved.

By the way, your configuration will work (having all the devices connected to a single switch). I've even seen this done with hubs! Unfortunately your DMZ ports (the LAN port on your router and the External NIC on your SBS server) are susceptible to broadcast storms on your LAN unless you have a VLAN configured on your switch.
