This is never going to work. Why are you using public IP's on your nics?
Better get the to the private ranges. Use static IP's on the nics.
Internal nic should be something like:
IP: 192.168.16.2
GW blank
DNS 192.168.16.2
External:
IP: 10.0.0.2
GW 10.0.0.3
DNS 192.168.16.2
