Ok, Admittedly I don't use SQL and I know database applications can be
intensive, put I'm running SBS2000 on dual 533's (they maybe 733's, I'd have
to look that up again) with 1GB RAM. SQL is loaded, but nothing is taxing
it. I have yet to see my processor usage go over 8% on EITHER processor, and
the only reason the memory is all used up is because the exchange store
sucks up anything not currently in use. Hearing somebody with dual 3.0Ghz
processors and 2GB of RAM expressing concern about being underpowered almost
made me fall out of my chair laughing.

You can always have more, granted. I don't think anybody in their right mind
would instinctively put SQL, Exchange, ISA and the likes all on one box, but
Microsoft seems to have worked it out for SBS users. I think the idea was
that small business usually wouldn't stress any one of these components
excessively. There are white papers on Microsofts site that actually discuss
implementations and testing under load, I'd see if your situation is
comapable.

My gut tells me you should be just fine, but I recall a thread not too long
ago discussing Access or SQL applications not working properly for VPN users
with out having the database front end redone.......I'll see if I can find
the thread. I don't know if that applies here or not.
