sbs2003 ESE event 907 Backup problem

Recently we are having problems on our sbs2003 boxes regarding the
backup wizzard.
several clients having the same install and a disk backup system. (
deonet USB )
Servers are completely patched.
After the install of exchange servicepack 2 the backup craches an the
server becomes unresponsive.
Looking at the logfiles event 907 from ESE Backup is popping up, after
that the server is dead.
