Hi,
Since upgrading by SBS2003 to SP1, I can no longer publish web sites to remote ftp servers using Dreamweaver MX. I first receive an error about time sync and then get An FTP error occurred - 550 Access is denied.
This problem must be releted to SBS since if I connect the workstation to the net directly via my ADSL router and disable the firewall client , the files can be published.
I have googled around and updated the firewall client to the ISA 2004 edition. This has not worked. I have also re-run the connection wizard on the server.
Anyone else have similar problems? Is there another port I need to open somewhere?
ISA2004 defaults FTP to read only. Find the ISA rule that covers FTP, and open its' property window. Somewhere in there is an option to "Configure FTP", under which you'll find the tick box for making it read-only. Untick it, OK your way out and Apply the changes.
