SBS Upgrade

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I am planning to upgrade my single server SBS 4.5 to SBS 2003 Std. I want to
reinstall the server. How do I backup and restore my Exchange settings and
folders during this migration process? I have no budget for a third party
application.
