Connect Computer keeps failing

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I am running SBS2003 with a broadband router with static IP - DHCP runs
through SBS. I have two workstations running XPProSP2. One of the
workstations refuses to join the network using the connect computer wizard.
The failed workstation can see companyweb, the router and public websites. It
can ping the server. It's set to obtain IP address automatically, but it is
set to use the SBS DNS Server first.

Using SBS I have removed the computer from the network and using the
workstation changed the computer name and started from scratch but it still
fails.

If your familiar with the connect computer wizard, it allows me to assign
users, see available computers but fails on the last step with the error "An
error occured when configuring networking settings. See your network
administrator."

I am the administrator, and am now crying for help..

Any advice?

thanks
