How do you disable verify when using SBS 2003 Backup

I am running SBS 2003 standard edition on a server with a SCSI controller
and an HP StorageWorks SDLT 320 tape drive. The backup works fine but the
SBS2003 Backup config wizard turns on verify by default. This normally would
be a good idea but the backup is so large that it does not complete in time
before the backup job for the following day starts. How does one modify the
backup ntbackup.exe option switch string started by the bkprunner.exe module
and remove the /V switch?
