I'll drink a toast to the death of NT, the first server OS I ever learned
(in SBS 4.0). IMO NT is what opened the eyes of us old guys to the
possibilities of network computing.
Of course, now days, the kids are doing Powerpoint in second grade, running
over to the Mac to touch up their graphics, then back to the XP machine to
retrieve the edited graphics from a server share. But for those of us who
remember black and white TV, NT was awe-inspiring.
