Please rethink your question and repost to the SBS2003 group. This group is
for SBS4.x. microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

Your problem is SMTP, it would surprise me to find RRAS is in any way
related. Well, actually, you start to discuss an SMTP problem and then go on
to a POP issue. Are you using the POP Connector in SBS to pull mail into
Exchange or is the problem that you cannot access a POP account from a
workstation?

SBS Standard or Premium?
What the hey does IPSEC have to do with this?

In a two NIC SBS if you terminate a VPN at the router it is 'outside' your
network. I doubt this is what you want.

I'm guessing the SMTP problem is SENDING mail, is the error reported by the
SBS or a client PC?

For SMTP into the server port 25 will have to be forwarded from the router
to the external interface of SBS, has this been done? Nothing should be
necessary to allow outgoing SMTP.
