I've setup a SBS2003Svr to route to a 2nd NIC in the
server and then off to a LinkSys (BEFSX41) VPN Router. I
didn't know squat about IPSEC and with them being a small
office I figured I'd just use both the NAT/Firewall in the
Linksys and RRAS for security. I will also be running VPN
within this router setup.
My problem is this. They have internet access just fine
but their e-mail is acting weird. The SMTP/25 is failing
with the following information:
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I don't think it's their ISP because when I turn off RRAS
on the SBS2003, it kills the POP3/110 access as well and
gives be a similar error (10060 instead of 10061).
Can anyone help me figure out what issue I have in my
configuration so I can get the POP3/110 access to not
fail? I don't have any inbound/outbound traffic blocked
via the input/ouput filters. Do I need to add something
besides using the default setting on this? Any help would
be greatly appreciated. If you need more information then
I will supply it in another post (this one's getting long).
