I still have BO SBS 4.0 and Win98se clients. I have always
had login problems off and on but usually can resolve
them - sometimes without knowing how. But recently I have
received a group of donated computers that is giving me
fits. They will login to the server intermittently. But
most of the time I see "The domain password you supplied
is incorrect, or access to your logon server has been
denied." I have read every KB article on the subject. I
suspect it is a password caching problem. I have disabled
password caching, deleted all pwl files and lines in the
sys.ini., and removed all profiles. I even formatted the
hard drive on one machine and reloaded Windows. I can
logon with this userid & password just fine on any other
machine on the network. Usually when I set up a client I
cancel past the Windows logon. If I did put one in I would
have used the same password as NT. What am I missing??? TIA
