Boy, those group names are confusing, aren;t they? I'll use the 'server.sbs'
group in future, thanks for the tip.
This was a clean SBS install with the standard 5 CALs, but even the first
workstation I tried to join to the domain had this problem. Given that this
is a new install, I think that answers all your other questions.
Nevertheless, I checked on the clients and they are indeed getting their
DHCP addresses, the DNS server is correctly set from DHCP.
When you say "TCP/IP the only protocol" do you mean that the clients should
not be running the NetBUI protocol?
