Having upgraded my server from 2000 to 2003 (or rather, done a clean install
of SBS-2003) I have been having problems joining my workstations to the
domain.
Using the web interface, the wizard goes right through to the end then says
"an error has occurred". Thanks, Microsoft, for the helpful error message.
Trying to join the domain using the "Network ID" wizard results in "access
denied".
I'm using the local admin account on the workstation and the domain
administrator account to join the domain. There don't seem to be any clues
in the event logs of either the workstation or the server. The odd thing is
that if I leave the workstation then try again later, eventually it will
work (using either method).
Anyone got any clues and/or a resolution for this?
Regards,
Tim Long
