Re: Drop Down Lists

perhaps I should elaborate
I am currently in an enviornment with limited bandwidth and internet
connectivity.
a simple Google search on "the wizard of oz" might take 10 minutes to load,
if it does. I am currently communicating on this newsgroup via sat link
from an area approx 100 km from Baghdad. If I had some bandwidth and some
time, I would most likely not even post.
I was tasked to design a form, without any guidance on how, but this form is
to be emailed to many senior officers in the navy and marine corps. the
form contains questions regarding manpower an strategy in the current war we
are fighting. I am a novice to access, and just wanted to know of any sites
or of any guidance regarding building lookup fields SUCH AS a list of
Countries (not the colognes or birds, or the products) but the Countries
themselves. For instance, like the one I am currently in, Iraq, and the one
you're in the United States....comfortable, I might to ridicule someone like
myself for not being a professional "let me sit here and *** with a guy
asking a simple question".
Its people like you who make most real Americans sickyour replies saying
"you're the best", they do that because they want to be nice. But inside,
they hate your arrogance and cockiness.
You're simply a bunch of geeks who were never welcome in society; and unlike
folks like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, you never even had an original
thought or vision. Only allot of time and resources to learn and master
what most people don't have time for cause they are too busy living life,
not designing tables and standing on soapboxes.
Thanks again, you make me proud to serve. Glad my sacrifices allowed you to
continue being an ***, even just for a little while.
(Permanent) Goodbye
Dont worry, Ill most likely die in this war anyway, imsure that will make
you real happy, ***.

When I want lists like that I find them myself. Have you heard of search
engines? Use search terms that describe and are included in the types of
list you're looking for, e.g.

list countries states abbreviations

and pay more attention to lists from official sources such as the UPU
and ISO.

I wonder whether you have considered searching the web using terms

A simple "go away, we are too advanced to help a novice" would have
sufficed, instead of sarcasm.

You say "this type of data".

*WHAT* type of data?

I still don't understand what data you're looking for.

Country flags?
National foods?
State religions?

You'll have to be clearer. At present we don't know what you are trying
to find.
