I'm new to programming in Access, even though I've used it for many years.
So, I do apologize for being so "basic", but is there a simple code I could
write (an event I'd like to assign to a command box) to have access retrieve
data from some fields and populate a Word file and display it (open the Word
doc, with the fields already merged)?
Let's say I have the fields "ID", "First", "Inidate" in a database called
"Client".
In my Word file, named "Letters", I'd like to see something like this:
"ID"
Dear "First":
[body of letter], since "inidate"
I'd appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks!
MC
