Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Most common cause: If the person using the database does not have delete permissions in the folder containing the database, then the ldb file cannot be deleted when that person is the last person to exit the database.

If the person does have permissions but abnormally quits the database - unplugs the computer, control+alt+deletes and kills the Access application - then the ldb file won't get deleted.

If the application crashes then often the ldb file won't get deleted.
