Can A2003 generate a A2000 format mde, or does it really matter? The
users of the database have A2000 loaded.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You need 2000 to make a 2000 MDE and yes it matters because 2000 cannot open a
2002/2003 MDE.

(You should not develop in a version newer than your users)
