I have an Access 2002 database with the front end
installed on a PC running on Windows 98. The
installation includes MDAC and Access runtime. When I
went to exit the database, I get the message "This
program has performed an illegal operation and must shut
down." When I click Close, I get the bluescreen
message,"A fatal exception 0E has occurred at
017F:BFF9DFFF The current application will be terminated."

I have not had this behavior on other Win 98 machines, or
on machines running Windows XP. Can someone help me
understand what the problem is, and what I could do about
it? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
