G'day John,
Have a look at the permissions on the server mdb file that you are trying to
link to.
You will need the folder to be shared with permissions and to have security
permissions on the folder. The file should inherit the permissions but we
have recently found that access will shed permissions if you open it to make
design changes. We have not found a way around this except to manually check
and re set up the permissions. And do not believe it is a very desirable
behaviour.
