How did you send the file - via CD/email? Perhaps the file has the Read-Only flag set.

I did not do anything in the DB for security, if that is what you want
to know. I did not do anything special. All I did was on startup,
hide everything so that the could not see the tables,etc. and limit
the toolbars.
I sent the DB by email by attaching the file in zipped format.
I suggested that she update to our version of Access, the 2003.
Anymore ideas?
