Re: One user cannot update

I have 3 groups and 5 users. Groups are Admin, Updater (data entry &
updating) and Viewers (read only).

One of the 5 users only has read only permission. One user is Admin with
all permissions and 3 users have updating and data entry permissions. Two of
the users can update and enter data with no problem. The 3rd user cannot
enter any data or update.

I have checked to make sure permissions are set the same for all three, and
they seem to be, but still the 3rd user cannot update or enter data. And
I've checked that she is a member of the viewer and update groups (as are the
other two). I can't think what settings I need to change! HELP! Any
thoughts?

Two spring to mind - are the *file* permissions OK? Users need "change" permissions to the host folder. Also, have you split the app and given each user their own front end?
