Ok. I see the system file. But how do I run the workgroup admin?

Thanks tons

If you are getting the login prompt when you try to open *any* mdb file, then you are joined by default to a secure workgroup file. Use the workgroup administrator to rejoin system.mdw.

Joan,
I have tried opening both ways.
I had the trial of 2007, but now have the 2007 Enterprise ed.

Iwill go look to see if I have any 'others' floating around that I missed.

How are you opening the files? Are you first opening 2007 and using the Open command? Are you opening via a double click in Windows Explorer? How many versions of Access do you have installed on your computer?

I belive I am getting this from a secure Access 2003 MDB. But I am just
trying to open any Access 2007 file and still getting the 'logon' prompt,
follwed by the 'Not a valid account name or password. (Error 3029)'
regardless of what I try to logon with.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Scott
