Hi, Pekka.
is MDE solution bullet proof code secure method with Access 2007 ?
(how to totally block reverse engineering)
No. However, those few experts who know how to extract the code from an MDE
file won't do it for anyone who can't prove they are the owner of the
database. Identify yourself as the owner of the database application and
put your name and contact information in the VBA code, and they'll contact
you if one of your customers ever tries to hire them to extract your VBA
code from the database.
But be advised that reverse engineering your database application isn't too
difficult for an expert Access developer who has never seen your VBA code.
If you can find a solution to a computer problem, they can, too. Lots of
'em.
