With everyone out of the database, check the folder where the mdb is located. If you see a ldb file, delete it.

I am getting this error saying someone is logged in exclusively to my
Database when I try to update the MDE file.

The problem is that the user is ME!! I have shut down my computer
completely, but the security file still shows I am in it...even though I do
not have it open. How do I fix this without having to re-do my whole
database?
.
