Access MDB is not a viable database, you need to move to SQL Server

I am trying to run locally a web application. When I try open an Access
2003
mdb file, which has been defined in ODBC, I get the following message:
"Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] You do not have the necessary
permissions to use the '(unknown)' object. Have your system administrator
or
the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions
for
you."

I do not know how to set permissions correctly. Can anyone help me.

Thanks...
