Why, for God sake, does Microsoft eliminate the user level security in
an
Access Database 2007.

User-Level Security is not supported for ACCDB format files, but it's
supported for MDB format files in Access 2007. Keep the database
applications from earlier versions in MDB format, and you can keep the
User-Level Security.
