Yes. Members of the Admins group have special permissions, such as
converting the database to another version, changing other users' passwords
programmatically, et cetera.

Members of the Admins group have built-in permissions that one cannot assign
to other groups. Since they are built-in and can't be assigned to other
groups, they don't show up on the list of permissions in the Security dialog
window. Your "AppAdmin" group has almost the same permissions as the Admins
group, but not quite all of them.
