VBA Passwords across versions

I am running Access 2003. A number of my users are on Access 2000. My
databases are all saved in 2000 format.

I recently deployed a database with the VBA pasworded. My users on Access
2000 cannot execute any of the code, but the 2003 users can. When I take the
password off the code, they run without incident.

Has anyone else run into this problem? If so any suggestions on getting
around it?

Thanks in advance,

John
