Anyone got experience using MSLDBUSR.DLL in A97

I need to limit the users to my app (having numerous front ends deployed and
wanting to limit the number of links to the back end) to 5. I know I can
count the users in text using the LDB file but also understand the
limitations of that file, not easily displaying the users 'currently'
connected.

The MSLDBUSR.DLL seems like the answer but was wondering if anyone has had
success using this DLL in a production App, before I spend the (likely
knowing my skills) many hours it'll take to build and test the code?

Cheers
