Assuming that you have all other patches installed, Jet, MDAC, etc; then it
is probably a Windows problem. Since this is a new laptop, it may need some
patches. They normally don't ship fully patched. Go to Windows Update and
get the patches available there. Also, make sure you have the most current
video driver installed.
