We have run into a message that we're not sure how to handle. The
users in the field are trying synch up to a replica we put out on
a shared drive and are getting this error message:

"The history of design changes in the replica does not match the
history in the Design Master."

Can you explain or help trouble shoot?

The only case where I've seen this is where you've forked your
replica set by recovering the design master, but then going back to
the original DM (or using another DM).

There is no way to recover from it. You have to get the data out of
the replicas that have the problem manually.
