All I've changed are the email addresses. . . .

The code is terrible, but it's not clear what it's running in. Is
this running in Access or is it a VBScript?

In any event, the email address is simply irrelevant as that line is
commented out (starts with an apostrophe).

. . . This code is behind an command
button in a database which routes the user to the main database -
dealershipcontacts.mdb is the main database. Does this then copy
the main database to the user's C: drive?

It appears to do so.

It also looks like it's an unsplit replicated database, which is a
bad thing, and likely to fail sooner or later.

The only thing I could see in that code that would be likely to fail
is that copying to a folder of the C: drive may be prohibited for
user-level logons by the default permissions on the drive, which
don't permit write access to the C: drive, except to the user's own
profile.
