One thing first. Is there any reason that you cannot use indirect
replication? You normally have internet replication as the last resort.

Hi all,

While I am very experienced in Access and in direct replication, I know
nothing about how to setup a webserver to begin the transition to
Internet Replication. Can anyone either give me a general synopsis or
point me to some basic instructions on what I need to get started with
Internet Replication?

I understand I need to put the Design Master on a Web Server, and that
from there people can synchronize from their laptops to this server
over the Internet. But what do I need to configure the Web Server?
Any special software or protocols? How do people tap into this server
over the Internet through Access?

Can someone give me the 10,000 foot overview of this process so I am
heading in the right dirction?
