Well, as there is no connection to the remote synchroniser the files are
created local. Later on they are transferred to dropbox of the remote
synchronizer. The remote synchonizer checks this dropbox periodically.
That's normal indirect replication. Is that OK?

Now assume the transfer is done manually. I copy the files from the
remote computer to a Flash Stick and from the Flash Stick to the remote
synchonizers dropbox. Where is the difference? Why should the replicas
become corrupted?

Why a WAN/LAN connection? I need this (I assume) only for the creation
of the replica on the mobile computer.
