database duplicates after closing

Forgive me if this post doesn't belong here. I have a user
who connects to an Access database outside of our building.
She is using Windows 98 with Access 2000. She can access
it, make her changes and then leaves the database. It will
then create another one with a "1" or a "2", etc.,
depending on how many times she opens it again.

What should I be looking for? There aren't any errors
generated on this side.

Thanks.
