Stacy-

Setting Tools / Options / Advanced / Default File Format to Access 2003
affects only any new database you create. Access 2003 can work with either
2000 or 2002/2003 format.

What did you name the query? Some query names are "reserved" and will be
hidden by default - such as any query beginning with "USys". You can try
going to Tools / Options / View and check Hidden Objects and System Objects
under Show. If you find the query that way, you can try renaming it. Also
select the query in the database window, right-click, and choose Properties
from the shortcut menu. Make sure the Hidden property is unchecked.

yesterday to an old database. Now it's simply gone! When I open Access, all
my old queries are there, but the one I built yesterday isn't. What do I do?
When I open the database, it says "Access 2000 File Format." Is it possible
that I built my new query in 2003 file format and that's why it doesn't show
up? Can I recover it? I tried opening the database, then using
tools...options...advanced...to change the default file format to "Access
2003" No good.
