Del,
Since you have so many files/folders missing, I would try the repair
command. If that didn't work, I would reinstall Office 11.

not only am i missing the DAO360.chm file. i am missing the entire OFFICE11.
folder. compared to my notebook, which has Vista & Access 2000, i'm missing
24 files and a suffolder with the OFFICE11 folder. i don't feel comfortable
just copying that many files to get them on the offending computer. is there
some setting i need to make in Access to unpack these files?

Thank you,

Hi Del,
I think you are missing a help file named "DAO360.CHM". It is usually
located in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE11\1033
If you don't find it on your computer, you should be able to locate it on
the Office 2K CD, in one of the cabinet files. (Or copy it from another
computer and put it in the above directory.)

I use Access 2000 on both my work computer and my personal computer. I have
noticed that certain Help topics are missing from my work computer. An
example is 'OpenRecordSet Method'. It is on my personal computer but not on
my work computer. I've verified my libraries are the same.
How can I fix this problem?
